When looking for an automated Sheet Metal CAD/CAM, to take their 3D assemblies from SolidEdge to their Prima Power LPe6 Punch+Laser, they turned to Metalix.

Metalix has fundamentally improved our workflow with the punch‑laser system.
The workflow is incredibly intuitive and efficient — many parameters can be preset as attributes and are then automatically and reliably transferred into the machine program. Via the CAD Link interface the process is started directly from the assembly drawing by the designer. The machine programmer receives a complete order list that can be inserted into the nesting without further editing or ambiguities. All quantities, unfolding, and material assignments are stored and handled automatically, so even from complex assembly drawings highly automated, error‑free machine programs are produced. This reduces rework, eliminates interpretation errors, and saves us significant time in planning and production.
We have not seen any comparable performance by any other software.
