TMP Mexico’s transition to Metalix cncKad and MBend

TMP from Mexico is a major sub-contractor for Carrier, delivering thousands of parts every day.

Metalix has deployed both cncKad+AutoNest and MBend at TMP.

For their Amada punching machine, a CSV file is read into AutoNest with a list of DXF part files. The parts are then automatically tooled
and nested using common cuts on the best available sheets.

For their Amada press brakes, a list of parts is automatically processed, and the best machine is chosen for the standard station setup, whenever possible.

Says William Perez, head of programming at TMP, in charge of both the punch and press brake programming:

We made suggestions about what we would like to see in the future versions, personally I expected to see that changes may be in a couple years and some of them considered by myself very hard to see or even impossible… they did it a couple of weeks.
