Come operatore di taglio laser e punzonatura, con esperienza ventennale, quando c’è stata la necessità di sostituire i CAM precedentemente in uso, con uno che ci consentisse di gestire macchine di diversi costruttori e di integrarsi con il nostro ERP come richiesto dall’Industria 4.0, sono stato incaricato dal Sig.Franco Borsari, titolare dell’azienda, di individuare la migliore soluzione per le nostre esigenze.
Dopo un’accurata ricerca tra i maggiori produttori di sistemi CAD/CAM presenti sul mercato italiano, la nostra scelta è ricaduta su Metalix, sia perché presentava tutti i requisiti da noi ricercati, sia per la grande disponibilità mostrata nello sviluppare le funzioni personalizzate che avevamo richiesto.
Gli altri CAM che ho visionato, avevano puntato su un’interfaccia grafica più accattivante rispetto al software* di Metalix, ma nonostante questo, una volta personalizzati i menù con le funzioni per me più utili, l’interfaccia dei programmi Metalix risulta essere molto efficace ed intuitiva.
AutoNest di Metalix risulta molto flessibile nell’inserimento delle parti ed altrettanto nella fase di lavorazione, con la possibilità di cambiare materiale spessore e gas di taglio in qualsiasi momento, oltre al grande vantaggio di avere una sola “icona” con più tecnologie di taglio memorizzate. Per la generazione del nesting basta un semplice click ed ogni particolare viene piazzato sulle lamiere in base alle specifiche impostazioni date in fase di inserimento nell’ordine.
Sono pienamente soddisfatto perché, dopo un periodo iniziale di configurazione dei programmi e di modifiche apportate in modo molto rapido e professionale, ora possiamo gestire al meglio le nostre macchine. Inoltre abbiamo la possibilità di trasferire il medesimo Nesting sia sul laser Trumpf che sul Laser Amada, semplicemente selezionando la macchina sulla quale vogliamo eseguirlo.
La gestione che ha richiesto più tempo è stata quella dello scaricatore TK-L di Amada. Essendo un dispositivo nuovo, da poco uscito sul mercato, non c’erano molte informazioni disponibili ma, dopo un accurato studio e numerosi test per la soluzione delle problematiche incontrate, ora la gestione dello scarico dei pezzi è diventata semplicissima.

As a laser cutting and punching operator with twenty years of experience, when there was a need to replace the previously used CAMs with one that would allow us to manage machines of different manufacturers and to integrate with our ERP as required by Industry 4.0, I was commissioned by Mr. Franco Borsari, the company owner, to identify the best solution for our needs.
After careful research among the major manufacturers of CAD/CAM systems on the Italian market, our choice fell on Metalix, both because it presented all the requirements we sought, and great willingness in developing the customized functions that we required.
The other CAMs that I have seen focused on a more attractive graphical interface than the software* of Metalix, but despite this, once I customized menus with the functions more useful for me, the interface of the Metalix programs is very effective and intuitive.
AutoNest by Metalix is very flexible in the insertion of parts and just as in the processing phase, with the possibility to change thickness and cutting gas material at any time, in addition to the great advantage of having only one “icon” with more cutting technologies stored. For the nesting generation a simple click is enough, and every part is placed on the sheets according to the specific settings given during insertion in the order.
I am fully satisfied, because, after an initial period of program configuration and changes made very quickly and professionally, we can now better manage our machines. We also have the possibility to transfer the same nesting both on the Trumpf Laser and on the Amada Laser, simply by selecting the machine on which we want to run it.
The management that took the most time was the Amada TK-L Part Unloader. Being a new device, recently released on the market, there was not much information available, but after careful study and numerous tests for the solution of the problems encountered, now the management of the unloading of the parts has become very simple.
